No, but we do work alongside the health service, often working within GP surgeries. We use a case management system used by GP practices.

We do not take donations as a service, however the partner organisations involved in delivering Linking Leeds are open to receiving donations. Please use the links found here to learn more information on these organisations.
No, we are a social prescribing service but we can work to link you up with a support work service that can meet your needs, whether that be with housing, daily living, finances or challenges around your mental health or substance use.
Not generally, but very occasionally we might offer support with appointments or attending group activities for the first time but in general this is not something we offer.
No, it is free.
The wellbeing assessment appointment can last from 45 minutes to one hour and 30 minutes, depending on circumstances. You will be guided through the process and things are taken at your pace, broken down into smaller appointments if necessary. Our Wellbeing Coordinators are trained to guide and support you from beginning to end.
Your appointments with a Wellbeing Coordinator can take place at various locations, depending on your preferences. This could be your GP surgery, another community venue or also over the phone or online.
Yes, however we would share information with other professionals if we were concerned about your safety or the safety of those around you. Also, the system we use is shared with your GP practice, so they would be able to view your information, unless you asked us not to allow sharing. We can only offer social prescribing to people aged 16 or over. However, if you are a parent with a child under 16 and you would like to have social prescribing to support you with parenting, then you can refer yourself.
Yes, so long as the person has agreed to the referral being made, we are happy to accept referrals from friends and family.

Yes, we use a phone translating service and have access to a huge number of languages.
Yes, but as we do have a short waiting list, to get this type of support straightaway you would need to either contact your support worker (if you have one) or visit either of these website Local Welfare Support Scheme or Household Support Fund. You can also phone Leeds City Council on 0800 953 2303 (Freephone) or 0113 376 0330 (weekdays, 9am to 4pm except Wednesdays when open from 10am).
If you are feeling unsafe and considering harming yourself, you can call the NHS single point of access on 01138555000 and ask to be put through the Crisis Team. You can also call the Samaritans on 116 123, they’re available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
You can get referred or signposted to services who can support you with your mental health by a Wellbeing Coordinator. Before that, you can use this link to the Mindwell website, which has information about all the mental health support available in Leeds.
