If you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do you can call the NHS on 111, 24 hours a day.
Whatever you’re going through, a Samaritan will face it with you. They’re here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can call the Samaritans on 116 123.
If you are newly homeless you can call Housing Options on 0113 222 4412 , weekdays from 9am to 5pm, except Wednesdays, when they’re open from 10am.
Their emergency out of hours number is 07891 273 939 and you can email them housing.options@leeds.gov.uk.
If you’re facing eviction from your property you can call Shelter the housing advice charity on 0808 800 4444, 8am to 8pm on weekdays and 9am to 5pm on weekends.
If you’re in danger of harming yourself you can call the NHS Single Point of Access and ask to be put through to the Crisis Team on 0113 85 55000.
If you suspect someone over 18 years old is being mistreated you can call Adult Social Care on 0113 222 4401, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, except Wednesdays when they’re open from 10am.
If you’re hearing impaired and in a mental health crisis you can contact the Crisis Text Service by texting DEAF to 85258. There are open 24/7.
If you have Enforcement Officers (bailiffs) visiting your property, you can get emergency debt advice by calling StepChange Debt Charity on 0800 138 11 11, Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and 8am to 4pm on a Saturday.
